The Women's Crisis Shelter was established in August 1995 as a shelter for women victims of domestic violence and their children.
The shelter is located in the north of Israel, Israel, and it serves women from all over Israel.
During 2013, 66 women and 93 children were treated at the Shelter. In addition, another five women with their six children resided at the Transitional Dwelling operated by the Shelter.
100% of the Shelter's women residents in 2013 choose non-violent lives when they left the Shelter!
The Shelter's mission is to provide physical and emotional protection and legal aid for its residents, and to take care of the various needs of the women and children who come to the shelter. Contact us for more information.
During the first half of 2014 the Shelter was under renovation. The renovation and the re-equipment of the Shelter enabling us to keep on our goal to provide safe and decent home in the next few years for victims of domestic violence.
The children are enjoying from their summer vacation. The Shelter's staff is activating an enriching framework for them - five days a week, eight hours a day - during all of the vacation.
